We are looking for a stellar Senior Manager, International Communications to lead our PR efforts as we expand our reach globally. Poshmark continues to expand its social shopping experience into markets around the world and we are seeking an ambitious, creative, and experienced communicator to help us achieve our goals. As Manager of International Communications, you will help Poshmark reach and grow our global community, support our brand and business objectives, and bring Poshmark’s story to life to people around the world. The hiring manager is open to remote work, with some travel and periodic meetings at our corporate office in Redwood City, CA. This person could be based out of London, NY, or another metro that allows for effective management of international communications.

Reporting directly to the Director of Corporate Communications, you will oversee and partner with a team of agencies to shape and execute Poshmark’s international PR program. You will collaborate closely with our vice president of international and our team of country general managers to understand each local market, the competitive landscape, and PR needs to execute strategies that are culturally relevant and meet our business objectives. You will play a pivotal role in enhancing and protecting Poshmark’s brand and global reputation through effective PR programs.

You are highly organized and driven, an exceptional writer and communicator, and you have strong cultural empathy and awareness.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties may be assigned):

  • Establish, manage and lead the execution of Poshmark’s international PR and communications strategy, in collaboration with international teams and agencies. 
  • Coordinate closely with agency, global and country teams to define international communications priorities, refine programming based on results/learnings, and achieve shared goals.
  • Supervise a network of country-based agencies to shape, execute and measure PR plans and strategies that are creative, innovative and impactful.
  • Identify proactive storytelling and thought leadership opportunities to drive brand awareness, affinity and high-impact coverage. 
  • Develop and implement strategic narratives and messaging to clearly articulate our brand value proposition and connect our brand to the local landscape.
  • Partner with our internal communications, brand and global communications team to discover, curate and share compelling stories about our international business and community; Identify opportunities to amplify content across various channels and outlets.
  • Work closely with merchandising and data teams to develop trend/data reports for regional and country-based pop culture moments.
  • Monitor global news landscape and support Poshmark’s response to country-level issues that may impact its brand, business or reputation.
  • Draft materials including pitches, press releases, social media copy, briefing documents, messaging, presentations, speeches, award submissions and more.
  • Manage monthly, quarterly and project-based coverage recaps on effectiveness of international media efforts; Monitor press coverage of company and competitors, providing updates to key internal stakeholders as needed.
  • Work on special projects and ad-hoc requests.
  • Some international travel required. 


  • Bachelor’s degree in journalism, English, communications/PR or related discipline. 
  • At least six years of experience in communications and proven track record in corporate, and/or brand communications. 
  • Experience in international communications and working with global teams; experience working both in-house and at a public relations agency ideal.  


  • Exceptional English communications skills, including writing, copyediting, and grammar; excellent verbal communications skills.
  • Exceptional teamwork and collaboration skills with the ability to organize and manage cross-functional efforts that generate impact and key results.
  • Creative, innovative, and entrepreneurial in thinking and execution.
  • Excellent project management skills; comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working across geographies and cultures to ensure relevance and understanding; Familiarity with diverse cultural and social landscapes.
  • Performs well under pressure and consistently meets deadlines.
  • Sound judgment and impeccable discretion in handling sensitive and confidential information.
